What the service is, and is not

What you must not do

You must not use Vixus Hush to:

Abuse contact and how fast we answer

Report misuse at [email protected] or through the abuse page. We read every report and aim to answer within one working day. We cannot see inside rooms, but we can act on what we do control: we can limit or block access to the service, including from the addresses that abuse it, and we will cooperate with valid legal requests within what we are technically able to provide. That is very little by design, because we hold no messages, keys or accounts.

What we keep

We keep only anonymous aggregate counters (visits, rooms created, joins, approximate unique visitors, and how many rooms and people are connected at a moment). We never store IP addresses. Details are on the privacy page.

No guarantees

The service is provided as it is, without promises of availability, fitness for a purpose or that it is free of errors. Rooms can close, fill up or fail at any time. Do not rely on it for anything you cannot afford to lose, and do not use it for anything where a failure would put someone at risk. To the extent the law allows, Vixus is not liable for loss or damage from using, or being unable to use, the service, or from what other people say or do in a room.

Changes

We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the service means you accept the current terms.
